As of June 1st, 2020 the Innovation Studio will be available by appointment only and will only be serving one patron at a time. Please schedule an appointment.
- The Cricut and Occulus VR are unavailable.
- The 3D printer form and Large Format Printer form may be used to have prints created for pickup.
- Take a virtual tour of the Innovation Studio equipment and procedures during the pandemic.
3D Printing
We are ready to serve your 3D printing needs with two different 3D printers:
- Makergear M2 printer creates models up to 7in x 9in x 7in (177.8mm x 228.6mm x 177.8mm)
- PRUSA I3 printer creates models up to 9.84in x 8.3in x 8.3in (250mm x 210mm x 210mm)
Both 3D printers use reels of PLA (colors are changed periodically) that can be painted.

Project on Display
UCO students Dalton Jones and Israel Contreras demonstrate “In the Blink of an Eye” which aids in blinking for elderly and disabled patients. The trial and final prototypes for the device parts were printed on our Makergear M2 3D printer.
