Library Resource Access Issues

Information to help troubleshoot access to library resources

If you are experiencing trouble accessing online library resources, please try the following steps:

1.  Make sure the following are enabled on any browser you are using: Cookies, JavaScript, and TLS 1.1, 1.2, 1.3

Enable Cookies: Chrome | Edge | Firefox | Internet Explorer | Safari
Enable JavaScript: Chrome | Edge (no JavaScript control) | Firefox | Internet Explorer | Safari
Enable TLS 1.1, 1.2, & 1.3: Chrome | Edge | Firefox | Internet Explorer | Safari (Safari version 7 or greater, TLS 1.1 and TLS 1.2 are automatically enabled)

2.  Clear the Cache and Cookies on your browser and then restart your computer.

Clear Cache and Cookies: Chrome | Edge | Firefox | Internet Explorer | Safari

3.  If you have any web monitoring software such as Covenant Eyes, please make sure to add vortex3.uco.edu to the safe list.

4.  Try a different browser.
          - Download Chrome
          - Download Firefox

5. Try logging into https://uconnect.uco.edu and see if you successfully authenticate, then try logging into library resources.

6.  If you have access to another computer, try using it. If you can access library resources from a different computer, it will indicate that a configuration on your current computer is causing the issue.

7.  As a last resort, you may visit the library and use one of the library's computers to access library resources.
